We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager

with

18+ years of IT delivery experience

to lead a

large-scale Mainframe to Java modernization program

for a

well-established US financial services client

. This role requires strong

end-to-end delivery ownership

,

stakeholder management

, and experience managing

complex migration programs

in the

Banking / BFSI domain

.

Experience Required

18+ years

of overall IT experience

5+ years

in

Delivery / Program / Engagement Management

Proven experience delivering large, multi-year transformation or modernization programs

Strong background in Banking / Financial Services (BFSI)

projects

Key Responsibilities

Own

end-to-end delivery

of a

Mainframe to Java migration program

Define and execute delivery strategy, migration roadmap, and release plans

Manage multiple workstreams

(Mainframe, Java, Data, NoSQL, QA, DevOps) Ensure delivery across

scope, schedule, budget, and quality

Drive risk management, dependency tracking, and issue resolution

Establish and monitor delivery metrics, KPIs, and SLAs

Lead client governance, steering committee meetings, and executive reporting

Manage US-based client stakeholders

and onsite-offshore coordination Ensure compliance with

regulatory, security, and audit requirements

Lead and mentor large cross-functional teams

Technical & Domain Understanding (Must Have)

Strong understanding of

legacy system migration

Understanding of data migration strategies

involving

RDBMS, and NoSQL

Experience managing high-volume, mission-critical financial systems

Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native delivery models

(Hands-on coding not required, but strong technical depth is mandatory)
