Position: Delivery & Client Engagement
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for client interactions, including regular visits to client offices.
Understand client requirements, delivery roadmap, and proactively identify challenges and resolve them.
Manage end-to-end delivery of fixed-bid projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and budget adherence.
Collaborate with clients to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
Drive Agile practices across teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
Experience in solution design and leading the creation of proposal decks for new opportunities.
Oversee resource allocation and team performance; manage hiring and onboarding for project needs.
Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Prepare and present status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with organisational standards and client expectations.
Required Skills :
Technical background in Java/J2EE and related frameworks.
Proven experience in managing fixed-bid projects in an Agile environment.
Excellent understanding of Agile principles, ceremonies, and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Ability to create solution architectures and compelling proposal presentations.
Strong leadership and people management skills, including hiring and team development.
Exceptional communication and client-facing skills.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle delivery challenges effectively.
Minimum 12 years of experience in IT project management (preferably in Java-based projects).
Nice to Have:
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience in pre-sales and bid management.
