The Delivery Leader is a Leadership role where 4-5 existing Managers will report to this role. This also involves leading a large Technology organization of 50-60 Technologists who are part of Georgia pacific entity of Koch. This role will be accountable for delivery, stakeholder management, managing escalations, defining and implementing the Governance practices around delivery. This includes managing demand and resources, time tracking, billing, implementing delivery best practices, AGILE/SCRUM adoption and tracking progress via metrics. This role will operate at a Strategic level and at the execution level. Working closely with global colleagues would provide significant global exposure to the employees. This role will be a Leader of Leader role and will be leading an existing team of 50-60 Technology resources and will report to the Technology Leader, Georgia Pacific and the role is based in Bangalore, India Job Responsibilities:

  • Be the Supervisor for 4-5 Managers who in-turn lead a large team of 50-60 Technology resources
  • People Management, managing delivery, managing resources & their utilization will be the key expectations from this role.
  • Accountable for Delivery, stakeholder management, managing escalations, defining and implementing the Governance practices around delivery
  • Experienced at Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Talent Engagement and Retention. Responsible for managing large teams, providing mentoring and leadership, creating growth paths for the team through transformative strategies
  • The Delivery Leader will work closely with GP Atlanta Leadership Team, Functional Leads, People Leaders, PMO and Finance across US & India.
  • Review the existing delivery model and explore opportunities to strengthen it and drive adoption across the teams, this includes defining & implementing best delivery practices within the team
  • Work closely with the Leadership team on Demand Management and Resource management. This involves tracking productivity, utilization, manage resources into Planview, timesheet etc. Alert the Leadership on future demand supply gaps in advance and provide suggestions to mitigate it.
  • Ensure all projects have adequate documentation (requirements gathering, business/technical requirement documents etc)
  • Work closely with Local Leadership and US PMO to ensure projects are on track and are being completed on time and highest quality. Work closely with teams to identify impediments and highlight it to the Stakeholders/Leadership
Developing plans & processes to orchestrate programs, resources, timescales, dependencies, benefits, monitoring and control
  • Managing all program expenses and monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on financial outcomes; liaise with Finance team and participate in financial planning
  • Work with other GP Leaders to provide accurate estimates for development work needed to support break-fix, new projects, and enhancements
  • Manage and strategize efficiently on the Hiring and managing demands
  • Planning, Hiring, Onboarding of the right resources for the requirements through different modes of hiring
• Define and implement checks and balances to prevent Data Exfiltration, Moonlighting etc related issues for the team • Manage Training programs (upskilling/reskilling, trainings etc)
  • Manage relationship with 3rd party vendor partner companies and work closely with them for our resourcing needs
Experience & education required:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology with more than 15+ years of Technology experience
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing large software engineering teams
  • 5+ years of experience leveraging AGILE/DEVOPS practices and working across multiple technologies
  • Focus on value creation through transformation and process improvement initiatives
  • Strong customer focus, communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • Strong people management skills, willing to spend time to coach and train
  • Strategic Leadership, Technology Transformations
  • Challenging the status quo and focusing on long-term value when designing solutions
What Will Put You Ahead:
  • Experience working with global teams by leading and managing delivery of technology teams panning across technology areas
  • Having knowledge of Project Management Tools (ADO/JIRA)
  • Delivery Management experience
  • Experience in Consulting (internal or external)
  • Having decent understanding of Cloud, BI, ERP systems, AWS, Python, .net programming languages
  • Exposure to DevOps
