What would you do? The candidate will work within the KYC Remediation team who is responsible for several activities aligned with the remediation of Know Your Customer activity for corporate / personal / commercial customers. Previous experience of KYC analysis in a remediation or live on-boarding environment is essential. The candidate must also have a detailed knowledge of the following: Personal client KYC, Corporate entities, Sanctions, Data gathering skills, Screening clients, Risk classification, PEPs investigation and knowledge of regulatory environment. Attributes to succeed in this role: Experience in leading team, Ability to learn quickly, Detailed understanding of the procedure documents, KYC / AML knowledge and ability to "speak up" and challenge effectively. Experience in EDD is not mandatory but will be an added advantage for the role. Main Duties and Responsibilities o Manage a team of KYC analysts and oversee their work to ensure it is of the highest quality standards o Perform random quality checks on the case which has been already checked by the QC person o Ensure that the team operates efficiently, adheres to procedures and the group's best practice and policy o Hold regular team meetings and create an environment of good communication with effective two-way feedback of information and ideas o Should be able to anticipate risk and challenges in the process and take proper actions to zero down the impact o Should have excellent people handling skill o Should monitor work allocation for the team to get maximum output from the team o Conduct team engagement activities o Liaising with client to understand the upcoming volume patter to ensure highest productivity from the team o Support the KYC Analysts/Checkers to resolve their queries o Need to work with the team to identify gaps in the process and work with clients to close those gaps within the set timelines o Support the KYC Analysts to validate the clients' KYC risk profile and raising any points of concern, such as negative news o Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with stakeholders at all levels o Primary escalation point for clients, responsible for client satisfaction, overall client management and delivery of client solutions.
What are we looking for? oKnow Your Customer (KYC) Operations The Candidate o Candidates should have a minimum of 12-15 years of functional experience in financial services with strong technical knowledge of KYC / AML process o Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing team and have 3 years' experience in managing team leaders. o Sound knowledge of the regulatory environment is highly desirable o Relevant Legal and Compliance Qualifications desirable o Investment Banking skills preferred o Good stakeholder management skills o Deep understanding of the end to end KYC and client on-boarding processes o Experience of on boarding across different client types o Willing to occasionally attend conference call meetings outside normal business hours o Ability to be highly flexible and react swiftly to changing priorities and urgent situations Qualifications o Educated to Degree Level - Post Graduation would be preferred o Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with business partners, communicate and explain complex KYC / AML-based issues o Strong experience in the financial services industry across a range of sectors o Strong knowledge of the business o Problem solving ability o Detail oriented, with the ability to work independently and multi-task effectively o Excellent written and verbal communication skills o Flexible, time management, and ability to prioritize and work effectively to tight deadlines o KYC analyst must have an understanding in risk management and good in communication skills - oral and writing.
Roles and Responsibilities: oIn this role you are required to identify and assess complex problems for area of responsibility o The person would create solutions in situations in which analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors o Requires adherence to strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near-term goals o Interaction of the individual is with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture, involving matters that may require acceptance of an alternate approach o Some latitude in decision-making in involved o you will act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments o Decisions individual at this role makes have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility o The person manages large - medium sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture o Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
