Key responsibilities

Delivery:

Safely and efficiently transport goods from a starting point to the customer's location.

Route planning:

Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrival and avoid traffic.

Loading/Unloading:

Handle and secure items for transport, and load and unload them carefully at each stop.

Customer service:

Interact with customers professionally, answer their questions, and handle any complaints or issues that arise.

Payment collection:

Collect cash payments from customers and provide correct change, if applicable.

Record keeping:

Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, payments, and any discrepancies.

Vehicle maintenance:

Perform daily checks on the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
Qualifications and skills

Driver's License:

A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.

Time management:

Strong skills to meet delivery deadlines and manage schedules effectively.

Navigation:

Ability to read maps and use GPS to navigate efficiently through different areas.

Communication:

Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and supervisors.

Physical fitness:

Must be able to lift and carry packages, and handle the physical demands of the job.

Problem-solving:

Ability to handle unexpected issues, such as traffic jams or customer concerns.

Technology:

Access to a smartphone with a stable internet connection for navigation and delivery tracking.
