Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products using pallet jacks and other equipment as necessary. Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries. Communicate effectively with customers, providing exceptional service during each interaction. Perform routine inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Handle paperwork related to deliveries, including invoices and delivery confirmations. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing shipments. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial driving or courier services is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment, such as pallet jacks. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) safely and efficiently. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to navigate using GPS systems or maps for route planning. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. Must be able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings.
