Job Summary:

We are looking for a punctual, responsible, and customer-focused Delivery Boy to join our dairy plant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering dairy products such as milk, curd, and paneer to retail outlets, customers, and distributors. You will play a key role in maintaining product quality during transit, ensuring timely delivery, and supporting customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Pick up and deliver dairy products from the plant to customers and retail partners according to assigned routes and schedules. Ensure all products are handled with care and delivered in a hygienic and temperature-controlled manner. Verify delivery addresses and contact details, and ensure correct product quantities are delivered. Collect payments (if required) and obtain customer signatures or delivery confirmations. Communicate effectively with customers and address minor inquiries or concerns politely and promptly. Maintain accurate delivery logs and submit daily reports to the supervisor. Follow all transportation, hygiene, and safety guidelines strictly. Report any delivery delays, route issues, or vehicle malfunctions to the logistics manager.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid two-wheeler or three-wheeler driving license (LMV license if using a mini truck). Prior experience in delivery, preferably in food or dairy-related roles. Good knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns. Ability to handle dairy products with care and maintain hygiene standards. Strong time management and customer service skills. Physically fit and able to load/unload dairy crates as needed.

Preferred Skills:

Experience handling perishable goods or working in a cold chain delivery setup. Familiarity with delivery tracking or route optimization apps. Basic understanding of dairy products and their handling requirements. Professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.
