Job Summary

The Delivery Boy will be responsible for delivering products directly from

one specific retail store

to customers' homes. The role includes collecting items from the store, ensuring correct order handover, delivering safely and on time, and maintaining excellent customer service. This is a store-based delivery role, not a field pick-up job.

Key Responsibilities

Collect customer orders from the retail store's dispatch counter. Verify items before leaving for delivery (quantity & correctness). Deliver orders to customer homes within the allotted time. Follow pre-planned or manager-assigned delivery routes. Ensure safe handling of fragile store items (groceries, medicines, essentials, etc.). Collect COD payments if applicable and submit them to store cashier. Maintain a daily delivery log (items delivered, cash collected, time taken). Communicate with store supervisor for delivery updates or issues. Follow all store policies, safety guidelines, and customer service standards. Keep the delivery bag/box clean and organized. Maintain proper use and care of the delivery bike/e-bike.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 10th pass (or store requirement). Valid driving license (Two-wheeler). Familiarity with the local area and routes around the store. Ability to operate smartphone apps (maps, delivery apps, store app). Good communication and polite customer behavior. Basic math skills for handling cash.

Experience

Freshers welcome. Prior experience in grocery, pharmacy, or retail delivery preferred.

Work Schedule

Store-based shift timings (morning/evening). Must be available on weekends or peak days. Overtime may be required during high-demand periods.
