Job Description

A delivery boy is responsible for transporting goods to customers, ensuring timely and safe delivery while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver Packages

: Transport various items to specified locations within a given timeframe.

Verify Recipients

: Confirm the identity of recipients before handing over packages.

Update Delivery Status

: Use the company's app or website to update the status of deliveries upon completion.

Handle Payments

: Accept and record payments for delivered packages when required.

Maintain Vehicle

: Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and regularly refueled.

Customer Interaction

: Answer customer questions and address complaints professionally.

Report Issues

: Promptly report any road accidents or traffic violations to the company.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education

: High school diploma or GED is typically required.

Driver's License

: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.

Experience

: Previous experience in delivery or courier services is preferred but not always necessary.

Knowledge of Road Safety

: Understanding of road safety regulations and local routes is important.

Customer Service Skills

: Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers.

Time Management

: Ability to plan daily travel routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
