Job Description

A Delivery Associate is responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering items to customers efficiently and safely. They also handle loading and unloading vehicles, maintain records, and provide customer service when needed. Key Responsibilities:

Pick-up and Delivery:

Collect packages or items from designated locations and deliver them to customers on time and in good condition.

Route Planning:

Plan efficient routes, considering traffic and other factors, to minimize delivery time and maximize efficiency.

Package Handling:

Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transport.

Communication:

Communicate with dispatchers and customers about delivery status and any potential issues.

Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including dates, times, and any issues encountered.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Ensure delivery vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and in good working order.

Safety:

Follow all safety protocols, including wearing seat belts and driving within speed limits.
Additional Duties:

Loading and unloading delivery vehicles. Scanning packages or items for accurate tracking. Assisting with warehouse or distribution center operations. Providing customer service to resolve issues.
Skills and Qualifications:

Clean driving record and valid driver's license. Ability to lift and carry packages. Good communication skills. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.

Pay: ?14,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
