Conduct bedside and instrumental evaluations such as FEES or VFSS where applicable.
Develop individualized deglutition rehabilitation plans focusing on safe swallowing and airway protection.
Therapeutic Interventions:
Implement evidence-based swallowing exercises and compensatory strategies.
Collaborate with dietitians for appropriate diet texture modifications.
Educate patients and caregivers on safe feeding practices and oral hygiene.
Departmental Contribution:
Maintain structured documentation and reporting of therapy outcomes.
Support interdisciplinary case discussions and rehabilitation planning.
Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards.
Research & Innovation:
Contribute to developing standardized swallowing therapy protocols.
Participate in case presentations and clinical studies related to dysphagia.
Business Enhancement:
Assist in developing specialized swallowing rehab programs and workshops.
Support marketing initiatives highlighting dysphagia management services.
