Key Responsibilities
Analyze, debug, and fix issues reported in production and staging environments
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring and critical defects
Collaborate with developers and QA teams to reproduce and resolve issues
Review application logs, error reports, and monitoring tools to identify failures
Improve application stability, performance, and security through effective debugging
Write and maintain debugging documentation and fix reports
Support release cycles by validating fixes and patches
Participate in code reviews to prevent future bugs
Assist in improving debugging tools and processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of debugging techniques and best practices
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, or similar)
Experience working with logs, stack traces, and monitoring tools
Understanding of databases and ability to debug SQL queries
Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
Knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodology
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
Experience with production support or L2/L3 support roles
Knowledge of performance profiling and memory leak detection
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to ticketing tools like Jira, ServiceNow, etc.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)
