1. Job Purpose



To provide strategic leadership, academic direction, administrative supervision, and quality assurance to the Business Management Department, ensuring excellence in teaching, research, industry engagement, and student development while upholding institutional standards and accreditation requirements.

2. Key Responsibilities A. Academic Leadership & Program Management



Oversee curriculum planning, development, and periodic revision in alignment with industry needs and regulatory norms. Ensure effective delivery of all UG/PG Business Management programs. Monitor academic quality through audits, classroom observations, faculty mentoring, and student feedback. Ensure timely completion of academic calendars, syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments. Lead initiatives for accreditation (NAAC, NBA, ISO), rankings, and quality enhancement.

B. Faculty Supervision & Professional Development



Supervise, guide, and evaluate faculty members through structured performance reviews. Plan faculty workload, teaching assignments, and time-tables. Organize FDPs, workshops, and capacity-building activities to strengthen faculty competencies. Support faculty in research, publishing, book writing, and industry collaboration.

C. Research, Innovation & Publication



Promote a research-driven environment within the department. Ensure minimum research targets are achieved by faculty (papers, book chapters, patents, projects). Facilitate consultancy projects, funded research proposals, and collaborations with agencies. Encourage participation in conferences, seminars, and editorial work.

D. Industry Collaboration & Outreach



Build and strengthen partnerships with corporate organizations, industry leaders, chambers of commerce, and professional bodies. Coordinate industrial visits, internships, live projects, case study development, and guest lectures. Lead placement-linked initiatives in coordination with the Training & Placement Cell. Ensure students receive professional exposure aligned with current market requirements.

E. Student Development & Welfare



Ensure smooth conduct of mentoring programs, value-added programs, and skill development sessions. Oversee discipline, attendance, student grievances, and academic progress. Support entrepreneurship, competitions, events, clubs, and management fests. Foster an inclusive, ethical, and professional learning environment.

F. Administrative Responsibilities



Oversee departmental budgeting, resource planning, and procurement. Ensure compliance with institutional policies, rules, and reporting requirements. Monitor documentation, NAAC files, departmental audits, and statutory submissions. Lead departmental meetings, prepare reports, and present outcomes to leadership.

G. Additional Institutional Responsibilities



Participate in cross-functional committees and strategic planning teams. Support admissions, marketing, outreach, and branding activities of the institution. Lead any special initiatives assigned by the Director Principal or Management. Ensure effective implementation of ERP and all digital academic processes.

3. Required Qualifications



Ph.D. in Management or relevant specialization (mandatory as per norms). MBA/M.Com or equivalent degree with strong academic background. Minimum

10-15 years of academic and administrative experience

, including leadership roles. Proven track record of research publications, consultancy, and academic contributions.

4. Core Competencies



Strong academic leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities. Expertise in curriculum development, accreditation processes, and quality assurance. Strong industry linkages and understanding of corporate trends. High level of professionalism, integrity, and problem-solving skills.

5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)



Academic quality metrics and student feedback scores. Research publications, projects, and faculty development outcomes. Industry collaborations, guest lectures, and placement performance. NAAC/NBA/ISO documentation accuracy and compliance. Departmental discipline, timely reporting, and smooth operations. Completion of targets related to admissions, academic events, and outreach activities.

Pay: ?95,000.00 - ?101,443.78 per month
