The Dean - Management will be responsible for providing academic leadership, strategic direction, and administrative oversight to the Management Department. The role involves ensuring academic excellence, faculty development, student success, and compliance with regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Leadership
Lead and supervise all academic activities of the Management Department.
Ensure effective implementation of curriculum as per University / AICTE / UGC norms.
Promote innovative teaching methodologies, research, and industry interaction.
Monitor academic quality, lesson plans, and student performance.
Faculty Management
Guide, mentor, and evaluate faculty members.
Ensure faculty development programs, workshops, and research activities.
Participate in recruitment, induction, and performance appraisal of faculty.
Administration & Compliance
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Prepare academic reports, accreditation documents, and inspections.
Coordinate with the Principal, Director, and Management for academic planning.
Student Development
Support student mentoring, placements, internships, and industry exposure.
Address academic grievances and ensure discipline.
Encourage co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
Research & Industry Interface
Promote research publications, seminars, and conferences.
Build strong industry linkages for internships, projects, and placements.
Encourage consultancy and collaborative projects.
