Mahatma Gandhi University Meghalaya seeking a Dean (Research) The Dean (Research) is responsible for promoting and managing research activities, innovation, and scholarly collaborations at Mahatma Gandhi University, Meghalaya. The role includes formulating research policies, enhancing research infrastructure, and fostering national and international partnerships to elevate the university's research profile.

Develop and implement the university's research strategy and policies. Promote interdisciplinary and socially relevant research projects. Facilitate research funding opportunities from government and private bodies. Ensure ethical standards and compliance in research activities. Support faculty and students in research training, publication, and patents. Strengthen collaborations with industry, academia, and research institutions. Monitor and enhance the university's research output and impact.

Eligibility Criteria

Ph.D. with an outstanding research record, publications, and funded projects. Minimum 12-15 years of experience in academic research and leadership roles. Proven expertise in research management, policy formulation, and grants acquisition. Strong networking abilities with funding agencies and research bodies.
