Key duties include policy-making, budget management, curriculum development, faculty recruitment, student welfare, accreditation, and representing the college.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Academic Leadership:
Oversees curriculum, academic programs, and quality standards.
Ensures compliance with Medical Council of India (MCI) / National Medical Commission (NMC) regulations.
Promotes research and scholarly activities.
Coordinates lecturer schedules and practical training.
Administration & Finance:
Manages overall operations, budget, and finances of the college and hospital.
Handles procurement, establishment matters, and administrative coordination.
Liaises with university, state, and central government bodies (like Health Dept., UGC).
Faculty & Staff Management:
Leads faculty recruitment, development, and evaluation.
Ensures effective staff allocation and performance.
Student Affairs:
Maintains discipline among students in hostels and campus.
Promotes student welfare, amenities (hostels, messes, health centers).
Initiates scholarships and addresses student grievances.
Strategic & External Relations:
Develops long-term plans and policies for institutional growth.
Manages accreditation, ranking, and outreach activities.
Identifies collaborations with other institutions and industries.
Acts as the official spokesperson and manages public relations.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Leadership & Management: Strong ability to lead, manage, and build teams.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education: Must be a qualified medical professional with experience in medical education.

Medical Degree (MBBS + Post Graduate) or equivalent:
