Role Overview:

We are looking for The Dean - Healthcare who will provide strategic leadership and academic visionfor the School of Healthcare/Allied Health Sciences. The role involves overseeing academic programs,faculty development, industry partnerships, research initiatives, and operational excellence to advance the school's mission in healthcare education, research, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Leadership:

Lead the design, development, and delivery of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoralprograms in Nursing, Public Health, Physiotherapy, Allied Health Sciences, and related fields. Ensure academic excellence, curriculum innovation, and alignment with regulatory bodiessuch as UGC, INC, PCI, AICTE, and relevant councils. Establish and monitor academic benchmarks, learning outcomes, and assessment frameworks.

Faculty and Student Development:

Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-caliber faculty team to drive teaching, research, and clinical practice. Promote professional development, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continuous improvement. Foster a student-centric learning environment focused on holistic healthcare education and ethical practice.

Strategic Planning and Administration:

Develop and execute strategic goals, academic policies, and operational plans for the School. Manage budgets, resource allocation, and infrastructural development of labs, simulation centers, and clinical facilities. Ensure compliance with university and accreditation standards.

Research and Innovation:

Promote research culture among faculty and students through funded projects, publications, and conferences. Establish centers of excellence in emerging areas such as Telemedicine, Geriatric Care,Community Health, and Digital Health Technologies.

Industry and Clinical Partnerships:

Build collaborations with hospitals, healthcare providers, NGOs, research institutions, and government agencies. Facilitate internships, clinical rotations, and job placements for students through robust industry linkages.

Quality Assurance and Accreditation:

Lead efforts toward accreditation, ranking, and quality improvement initiatives (NAAC,NABH, etc.). Monitor feedback systems, audits, and KPIs for continuous enhancement of academic delivery.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Ph.D./Doctorate in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Management, or Allied Health Sciences (essential). Minimum 15 years of experience in academic leadership roles within healthcare education and minimum 5 years in Administration in University setup as Associate Dean/Principal/Dean. Strong understanding of healthcare systems, academic policies, and regulatory compliance. Proven track record in curriculum development, faculty management, research publication,and accreditation.
