Mahatma Gandhi University Meghalaya seeking a Dean (Academics) The Dean (Academics) will lead the academic planning, curriculum development, and academic quality enhancement at Mahatma Gandhi University, Meghalaya. The role involves driving academic excellence, implementing innovative teaching-learning practices, and ensuring alignment with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Oversee curriculum design, academic planning, and program development. Ensure academic quality standards as per UGC, NAAC, and other regulatory bodies. Facilitate faculty development programs and promote research activities. Monitor academic delivery, examination, and evaluation processes. Collaborate with industry and academic partners for knowledge exchange. Lead efforts for accreditation, ranking, and continuous academic improvement. Support student academic services and mentoring initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria

Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with a strong academic and research background. Minimum 10-12 years of experience in teaching and academic leadership roles. Familiarity with academic governance, curriculum standards, and quality assurance. Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
