Shivalik College of Engineering (SCE) is seeking an eminent academician and visionary leader to join as

Professor in Computer Science cum Dean Academics

. This dual role combines excellence in teaching and research with academic leadership to drive institutional growth and innovation.

Roles & ResponsibilitiesAs Professor - Computer Science

Deliver high-quality teaching at UG and PG levels in Computer Science & Engineering (AI, ML, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, etc.). Guide and mentor research scholars, M.Tech, and B.Tech students towards impactful research, patents, and innovations. Publish high-quality research in reputed international journals and conferences. Collaborate with industry and research organizations for sponsored projects, consultancy, and training programs. Promote innovative pedagogy including

Outcome-Based Education (OBE)

, ICT tools, and blended learning.

As Dean Academics

Provide

strategic direction

for academic planning, curriculum design, and policy development in line with

NEP 2020

and

AICTE guidelines

. Lead faculty development, mentoring, and performance enhancement initiatives. Strengthen the

research culture, innovation ecosystem, and interdisciplinary collaboration

across departments. Ensure academic quality assurance through

NBA/NAAC accreditations, rankings, and regulatory compliance

. Drive initiatives for

student engagement, employability, and holistic development

. Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability in teaching, learning, and research.

Qualifications & Eligibility

Ph.D. in

Computer Science & Engineering

(mandatory). First Class in

B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech

in Computer Science & Engineering or a relevant discipline. Minimum

15 years of teaching/research/industry experience

, including at least

5 years as Professor

in a reputed institution. Strong record of

research publications, patents, funded projects, or consultancy

. Proven leadership in academic administration, curriculum design, accreditation, or policy implementation. Excellent communication, networking, and collaboration skills with academia, industry, and regulatory bodies.

Ph.D. in Engineering/Technology (mandatory). First Class at Bachelor's or Master's level in the relevant branch. Minimum

15 years of experience

in teaching/research/industry, with at least

5 years at Professor level

. Proven track record in

academic leadership, accreditation, and institution building

. Significant contributions in

research, innovation, and development of academic systems
