The Dealer Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales performance of ILCV & SCV segments, managing the dealership sales team, expanding market reach, and ensuring achievement of monthly and annual sales targets in line with Tata Motors' guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Drive retail and institutional sales for ILCV & SCV segments
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Lead, motivate, and manage the dealership sales team
Develop and implement effective sales strategies and market action plans
Appoint, manage, and support sub-dealers / channel partners (if applicable)
Ensure strong customer engagement and high satisfaction levels
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
Coordinate with finance, insurance, RTO, and service teams for smooth vehicle delivery
Ensure compliance with Tata Motors' sales processes, reporting, and audits
Review sales performance regularly and conduct sales meetings
Handle key customer negotiations and bulk deals
Desired Candidate Profile
Proven experience in Commercial Vehicle sales (ILCV & SCV preferred)
Strong leadership, team-handling, and negotiation skills
Sound knowledge of local market dynamics and fleet customers
Target-oriented with excellent planning and execution abilities
Proficient in MS Office and dealership management systems
Experience & Qualification
Minimum
5-8 years
of experience in CV sales
At least
2-3 years
in a managerial or supervisory role
Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred)
