We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented DDI Engineer to join our Unix operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and evolving our enterprise-level DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) services. This includes working with both legacy BIND servers and modern Infoblox DDI appliances. The role involves designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex DDI solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and security of our Core Infrastructure.

Skills:

DDI Services (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) Linux/Unix OS Administration Infoblox NIOS Platform Python Shell Scripting Perl Infoblox REST API / WAPI Automation

Key Areas:

Administer and maintain both BIND and Infoblox DDI platforms, including configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Design and support DDI infrastructure to meet business needs. Manage DNS zones, subnets, DHCP scopes, and IP address assignments. Implement security features like DNSSEC and RPZ. Automate DDI tasks using scripting (Python, Shell, Perl). Collaborate with other IT teams for smooth operations. Monitor DDI systems for performance and security. Provide technical support and assist with incident response. Document DDI architecture and operational procedures.
