Role Overview:

The DCS Operator will be responsible for monitoring, controlling, and optimizing plant operations through the Distributed Control System (DCS). The role ensures safe, efficient, and continuous plant performance while adhering to safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor plant processes through the DCS system. Ensure efficient and safe plant operation as per standard operating procedures. Maintain continuous communication with field operators and shift supervisors. Analyze alarms and take immediate corrective actions. Monitor process parameters and adjust controls to maintain product quality. Log operating parameters, events, and abnormalities in the shift logbook. Support maintenance teams during shutdowns and startups. Participate in safety drills, audits, and housekeeping activities.

Requirements:

Minimum 2-5 years of experience operating DCS in a process industry (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Power, or Manufacturing). Sound understanding of process control systems and instrumentation. Good analytical and troubleshooting skills. Strong awareness of safety standards and emergency procedures. Willingness to work in shifts.
