Assist senior chefs in developing new dishes and implementing recipes.
Kitchen Management and Hygiene:
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in their section.
Monitor and control inventory for their section, ensuring the quality of ingredients.
Properly store food to prevent spoilage and contamination.
Quality and Presentation:
Ensure all food meets quality standards, including taste, temperature, and presentation.
Conduct regular checks for adherence to portion sizes and plating standards.
Leadership and Teamwork:
Collaborate effectively with other chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants to ensure smooth operations.
Guide and train junior staff, sharing cooking techniques and kitchen discipline.
Operational Support:
Assist in menu planning, including creating prep lists and organizing daily tasks.
Help manage kitchen operations, ensuring timely service and efficient workflow.
