Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for smooth kitchen operations and quality of food prepared.
Ensure that all food preparation is in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Ensuring that food items received in the restaurant are as per the standards and specifications laid down by the management.
Ensuring that all raw and cooked food items are stored properly at the right temperature for reuse thus, minimizing spoilage and wastage.
Design standardized food presentation guidelines for each dish.
Maintaining all kitchen equipment and hoods and firefighting appliances in excellent working condition and also to monitor inventory levels of commonly used items.
Look for ways to reduce spoilage of infrequently used items.
Good Communication skills
Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
Understanding of MS Office, restaurant management software.
Credentials in health and safety training
Qualification
: Degree/ Diploma in Hotel Management
