Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Data Centre Server and Storage Expert with strong expertise in managing, configuring, and maintaining data center infrastructure, including both Windows and Linux-based servers, as well as enterprise-level storage systems. The role demands hands-on experience and the ability to operate in a government-controlled secure IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and monitor Data Centre infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers (Windows & Linux). Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot server hardware, storage arrays (SAN/NAS), and backups. Plan and implement system upgrades, patch management, and performance tuning. Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data integrity across all servers and storage devices. Work with virtual environments - VMware, Hyper-V, or other platforms. Create and maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies. Coordinate with application and network teams to support infrastructure requirements. Maintain compliance with security protocols and government IT policies. Respond promptly to incidents, outages, and service degradation affecting server/storage systems.
? Required Skills & Experience:

8+ years of hands-on experience in managing enterprise server and storage infrastructure. Strong proficiency in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux OS (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) administration. Experience with RAID configurations, SAN/NAS storage solutions (Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, etc.). Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and server roles/services. Backup and Disaster Recovery planning using tools like Veeam, Commvault, or NetBackup. Performance monitoring and capacity planning. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Good communication and coordination skills.
