Job Description

5 to 10+ years of IT industry experience in Hybrid-DC/private Cloud Infrastructure architecting with minimum 3 years of hands-on experience

Experience of architecture, design, and implementation of complex, highly available and highly scalable Private Cloud & DC Virtualized solutions

Relevant solution design experience on various aspects of datacenter technologies such as; Servers (LINUX and Wintel), Consolidation and Virtualization, Data center migration, Storage and backup, Network (LAN and WAN), Disaster Recovery/BCP, Database, Middleware, etc.

Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery concepts to build solutions

Strong knowledge in Hybrid Cloud infrastructure best practices and hands-on experience in design, implementation, and/or support

Awareness of enterprise storage deployment techniques such as SAN, RAID, mirroring, Clustering, Virtualization, Consolidation, Load Balancing, to ensure solutions are available, performant and resilient

Must have experience in Datacenter migration projects, solution design, planning and execution

Candidate should have good experience in assisting customer with performing assessment and putting through recommendation for Infrastructure related initiatives like capacity planning, cost saving opportunities, infrastructure rationalization and modernization etc.

Experience in development of Proposals, collateral creation, RFP/RFI

Strong verbal and written communications skills, as well as the ability to create presentations and work effectively across internal and external organizations

Certifications : VMware Architect, Cloud solution architect,

Good to have: Experience in Cloud platforms

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related discipline, or equivalent experience

Ability to effectively articulate architectural and business use case requirements to a non - technical audience, including both internal and client-facing engagements

Ability to chart one's own career and build networks within the organisation

Ability to prioritise tasks, work on multiple assignments, and raise concerns/questions where appropriate

Own the work assigned from end-to-end
