Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).


Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.


Proven experience in electrical engineering design, with a focus on switchyards, substations, or power distribution systems.

Design and engineer switchyards, substation layouts, and associated electrical systems for solar power projects.

Perform load flow analysis, short-circuit analysis, and relay coordination studies to ensure the reliability and safety of the switchyard design.

Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, codes, and specifications.

Review and approve equipment specifications for transformers, circuit breakers, switches, and protective relays.

Conduct site visits and surveys to assess site conditions and gather necessary data for switchyard design.

Create detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and documentation for construction and commissioning.

Provide technical support during the construction, testing, and commissioning phases of switchyard projects.

Troubleshoot electrical issues and propose solutions to optimize switchyard performance and efficiency.

Keep up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in switchyard design and electrical engineering.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in lessons learned sessions to enhance project delivery processes.
