Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Manage, monitor, and maintain PostgreSQL databases in production and non-production environments
Handle database provisioning, configuration, performance tuning, and optimization
Work extensively with Supabase, including database management, authentication, storage, and APIs
Ensure database security, access control, backup, and recovery strategies
Perform database migrations, upgrades, and patching with minimal downtime
Monitor database health and troubleshoot performance issues proactively
Collaborate with application developers and DevOps teams for seamless integration
Ensure high availability, data integrity, and disaster recovery readiness
Provide support during night shift operations and handle critical incidents
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator
Strong expertise in PostgreSQL (query optimization, indexing, replication, backups)
Mandatory hands-on experience with Supabase
Experience with cloud-based database environments
Good understanding of database security best practices
Ability to work independently during night shifts
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and documentation skills
