Job Description

:

Designing, testing, planning, implementing, protecting, operating, managing, and maintaining MYSQL Server databases. Facilitate problem resolution by coordinating between the DBA team, affected application teams, other technology teams and vendor support. Adhere to change control procedures. Monitoring, backups, troubleshooting, security, user maintenance, reporting, migrations, upgrades, data copying, etc. Architect database solutions to optimally meet business needs Work with application teams on database design and database issues. Below mentioned are the indicative responsibilities and required skill sets, which may change as per the requirement of client -

Responsibilities:

Manage MYSQL Server databases

Configure and keep database servers and processes up to date.

Keep an eye on the system\xe2\x80\x99s health and performance.

Ensure the good performance, availability, long-term viability, and security.

Real-time problem analysis, resolution, and correction

Make recommendations for solutions.

Regular processes should be refined and automated, issues should be tracked, and modifications should be documented.

Assist with query tuning and schema refinement for developers.

Provide assistance for important production systems 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

After hours, do regular maintenance and assist with release deployment activities.

Knowledge on IDE like, WorkBench, SQLyog etc

Significant knowledge on Linux Operating System and Master-Slave replication

Help developers in partitioning of database tables.

Required Skills:

Education \xe2\x80\x93 BE/B.Tech/MCA/MCS/MSc (IT)/MSc (CS)

10 years of experience working as a MYSQL, DBA or in a similar position

Administration expertise in MYSQL enterprise edition is necessary.

Proficient experience in Linux Server

Problem-solving abilities and critical thinking

Excellent time-management abilities

Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities

Experience in working on E-Governance projects/ CCTNS application will be preferable

Experience in working with Police/Law enforcement agencies will be preferable
