Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

IBM DB2 LUW Database Administrator

to join our team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in

DB2 LUW on Linux, Unix, and Windows environments

, with a focus on high availability, performance, and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and support

IBM DB2 LUW databases

(Non-Mainframe). Configure and manage

HADR with TSA

, including log shipping. Perform

backup, restore, and recovery

operations. Troubleshoot and resolve

HA/HADR-related issues

. Execute

DB2 upgrades, patching, and migrations

. Perform database health checks, performance tuning, and diagnosis. Handle DB2 maintenance activities and ensure database availability. Work closely with application and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
Required Skills & Experience:

6-8 years of experience in

IBM DB2 LUW Database Administration

. Strong experience with

DB2 on Linux, Unix, and Windows

platforms. Hands-on expertise in

HADR with TSA

, backup/restore, and log shipping. Experience in

DB2 upgrades and troubleshooting database issues

. Solid understanding of

HA, DR, and recovery strategies

. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:

Experience supporting production environments. Knowledge of database performance tuning and monitoring tools.
Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?85,000.00 per month
