Db2 Database Administrator
Job Description
10-15 years of experience as a DB2 Database Administrator.
In-depth knowledge of db2 database versions 10.5, 11.1, 11.5, 12 etc.
Strong knowledge of IBM DB2 LUW and/or DB2 z/OS database platforms.
Database Administration - DB2 LUW Support critical production environment.
Familiarity with monitoring tools like db2top, IBM Data Server Manager.
Hands-on experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
Experience with DB2 commands: - Stop/Start Databases, Display command, Cancel thread and Term & Display utility, others.
Hands on experience on DB2 utilities: Reorg and Runstat, Backup and Recovery of Table spaces (copy & recover), Repair, Load/Unload utilities.
