Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Database Design and Development:

Design, develop, and maintain database schemas, tables, stored procedures, triggers, and views. Ensure database structures support business needs and application requirements.

Database Administration:

Manage and administer MS SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Perform database backup and recovery, including disaster recovery planning and execution.

Performance Tuning and Optimization:

Optimize database performance through query optimization, indexing, and fine-tuning. Monitor and analyze database performance metrics to identify and resolve issues.

Data Integrity and Security:

Implement and enforce data security policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Maintain data integrity through regular audits, checks, and maintenance.

Backup and Monitoring:

Implement and manage database backup strategies, ensuring data is protected and recoverable. Set up and maintain monitoring tools to track database performance, capacity, and health.

Collaboration and Support:

Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions for new applications and features. Provide support for database-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving incidents.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures. Generate and deliver reports on database performance, utilization, and other key metrics.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in database development and administration, specifically with MS SQL Server.

Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries. Hands-on experience with stored procedures, triggers, views, and database table design. Knowledge of database backup, recovery, and monitoring tools.

Performance Tuning:

Proven experience in optimizing and fine-tuning SQL queries and database performance.

Security and Compliance:

Understanding of data security best practices and regulatory requirements in the banking industry.

Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Communication:

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications in database management or MS SQL Server are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the banking or financial services industry. Familiarity with other database systems and technologies. Experience Database Design, Development & Maintenance

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
