Overview

We are looking for a caring, responsible, and proactive

Daycare Incharge

to oversee the daycare operations at GIIS, Charholi Campus. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children (Playgroup & Early Years) while ensuring smooth daily functioning of the daycare.

Responsibilities

Manage overall daycare operations and maintain a safe, child-friendly atmosphere.
Handle small children (playgroup age) with warmth, patience, and empathy.
Plan, conduct, and manage

daily learning engagements

including early learning activities, interactive play, story sessions, rhymes, sensory activities, and fine motor skill development.
Ensure children's overall well-being, including their emotional, social, and physical needs.
Supervise meal/snack times and assist children as required.
Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness within the daycare space.
Keep daily attendance, activity records, and maintain parent communication logs.
Communicate positively and professionally with parents regarding their child's routine and development.
Coordinate with school administration for supplies, planning, and operational needs.
Guide and supervise daycare support staff.
Manage emergencies calmly and follow all safety protocols.

Skills Description

Female

candidates only.
4-6 years of experience in daycare, preschool, playgroup, or similar childcare roles.
Warm, patient, and child-friendly personality.
Strong ability to engage children through play-based learning.
Good communication skills in English and Hindi/Marathi.
Ability to multitask and maintain routines smoothly.
Understanding of child safety, hygiene, and early childhood learning needs.
