DataStage Technical Specialist
Job Summary
The Technical Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the IBM Infosphere DataStage Suite. This role involves utilizing SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and Unix Shell Scripting to manage data integration processes effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and administer the ibm infosphere datastage suite for efficient data integration.
2. Develop, implement, and maintain data integration solutions using sql, oracle pl/sql, and unix shell scripting.
3. Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration processes.
5. Optimize existing processes to enhance performance and scalability.
6. Ensure data quality, security, and compliance standards are met throughout the integration process.
Skill Requirements
1. Proficiency in ibm infosphere datastage suite for data integration tasks.
2. Strong knowledge of sql for database querying and manipulation.
3. Experience with oracle pl/sql for database development and maintenance.
4. Proficient in unix shell scripting for automation and scripting tasks.
5. Ability to analyze complex data requirements and develop suitable solutions.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work in a team environment.
8. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
9. Experience in using azure devops for build and deploy
10. Familiarity with creating physical data model based on the data model logic
