Looking for a DataStage Developer whose primary responsibility will be application development and production support. The candidate will be part of a team that works with Business Analysts, Operations, Quality Assurance Testers and other System Professionals. The candidate will also be responsible for trouble shooting and resolving support issues.
Key Responsibilities
Should have 4+ experience in ETL tool DataStage 11x & above development.
Hands on experience in PL/SQL and Unix
Good knowledge in DevSecOps process, Jenkins configurations and Rundeck development and one touch deployment.
Experience in various DevOps controls and its implementation.
Experience in analytical, design, programming, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Experience in providing status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
Hands-on experience in leading a team
Hands on experience in SQL, Unix shell scripting, any ETL Tool is preferred
Working Knowledge of data modeling concepts for both normalized OLTP systems and denormalized data warehouse.
Knowledge on DevOps tools GIT,Bitbucket,Jenkins and Run Deck is preferred
Familiarity with Agile approaches to development is a plus
Knowledge of cloud technologies is a plus.
Should be able to work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of managers
Analytical, yet able to communicate well with others, both written and spoken
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Strong 4+ years of experience required
Must have demonstrated experience in Oracle PL/SQL
working knowledge of Unix scripting
Strong experience in Application Development with knowledge of full software development life cycle
Experience with Java preferred and understanding of database deployment architectures
Must meet performance standards including attendance and punctuality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and leadership skills
Must be able to manage priorities and handle simultaneous demands; willingness to work in a fast paced and demanding environment
