Key Responsibilities

Data Modeling in SAP Datasphere

: Build and maintain robust

Analytic Models

--including measures, calculated/restricted measures, nested dimensions, variables, hierarchies, exception/time
dependent aggregations, and currency conversions

Data Flows & Integration

: Create

, remote tables, graphical and SQL-based Data Builder objects; perform data ingestion from SAP HANA, BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, OData, JDBC, and third
party sources

Deployment & Governance

: Enable data exposure for consumption in SAC (toggle "Expose for Consmption"), manage tenant links, trusted origins, and user permissions in both Datasphere and SAC

Integration with SAC

: Establish live connections between Datasphere models and SAC stories, ensuring support for the Optimized Design Experience; troubleshoot limitations (e.g., Analytic Model availability in SAC App Designer)

Analytic Application Development

: Build SAC stories and analytic applications using Datasphere Analytical Models or Datasets as data sources; incorporate dynamic measures and input
based calculations

Reporting and Visualization

: Design interactive dashboards in SAC--drill-downs, filters, planning input capability, predictive analytics for reporting like CAPEX forecasting

Performance Optimization

: Balance relevance vs. performance by curating exposed fields, global filters, and leveraging optimized Data Analyzer previews

Change Management & Transport Control

: Manage model dependencies, version control, lineage, and change impact within Datasphere repository

Consulting & Implementation

: Participate in pre-sales, blueprinting, solution architecture, delivery, and enablement across full life-cycle engagements (2-3 implementations)
