Job Description

Role purpose:
Able to develop end to end Analytics solution within SAP analytics tech stack comprises of B4HANA, SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud solutions. Should be able to drive and design customer requirements end to end. Expertise in mapping the requirements into SAP processes and in designing solutions based on business requirements.
SAP Datasphere Administration

• Tenant & Space Administration: Create/manage Spaces, quotas, roles, user groups, and resource allocations; maintain naming conventions and lifecycle standards.
• Connectivity & Data Integration: Configure and monitor connections (SAP & non-SAP), OData/ODBC/JDBC agents, replication/virtualization; manage data products and datasets.
• Model Governance: Oversee semantic models, views, lineage, and documentation; enforce versioning and change-control across data layers.
• Performance & Cost Optimization: Monitor data loads, query performance, storage consumption; tune pipelines and scheduling; optimize compute/storage costs.
• Security & Compliance: Implement role-based access control (RBAC), data masking, and audit; ensure compliance with company security controls and regulatory requirements.
• Incident & Release Management: Own incidents, root cause analysis, and preventive actions; plan/validate SAP updates, patches, and feature rollouts.

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Administration

• Tenant Management: Manage tenants, provisioning, licenses, capacity, and environments (DEV/QA/PROD).
• User & Role Management: Define folders, teams, roles, authorizations; implement SSO/SAML, directory integrations (Azure AD/Okta).
• Content Lifecycle: Govern models, stories, dashboards, analytic applications, and planning artifacts; manage transport/deployment.
• Performance & Monitoring: Track system health, model performance, refresh schedules, and live/acquired data sources; optimize story load times.
• Security & Data Privacy: Maintain data access controls (DCL), row-level security, and audit trails; support compliance audits.
• Support & Enablement: Provide L2/L3 support, knowledge base, best practices, and enablement for power users and citizen developers.

Cross-Platform & Operations

• Integration: Coordinate with SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and non-SAP data sources; manage live/acquired data strategies.
• Automation & DevOps: Script routine admin tasks, set up monitoring alerts, CI/CD for SAC content transports; manage backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Documentation: Maintain runbooks, architecture diagrams, standards, and data catalog entries.
• Stakeholder Management: Partner with business, data engineers, BI developers, InfoSec, and cloud teams to meet SLAs and roadmap goals.

Required Skills & Experience (4-6 years)

• SAP Datasphere: Spaces, roles, connections, data products; semantic modeling basics; monitoring and troubleshooting of data loads/queries.
• SAC Administration: Tenant setup, user/role management, content governance, transports; security (row-level), live/acquired data connectivity.
• Security & Identity: SSO/SAML, SCIM/LDAP, Azure AD/Okta integration; RBAC; audit and compliance controls.
• Performance & Monitoring: Familiarity with platform monitoring, query tuning, scheduling, and capacity management.
• Integration Know-how: Working knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA CDS views, SAP HANA, and common non-SAP sources (SQL Server, Snowflake, etc.).
• Scripting/Automation: Ability to automate admin tasks (e.g., using APIs or scripts); experience with DevOps for analytics content is a plus.
• Process Orientation: Incident/problem/change management (ITIL basics), documentation, and governance discipline.
• Communication: Strong stakeholder communication, ability to translate technical constraints into business impact.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or Information Technology,
• Good communication skills.
