Job Title - Databricks Architect

Location - Remote

Duration - 12+ Months

Core Knowledge & Skills:

15 year + IT / 5+ years' proven experience of working with ADF, Databricks and Power BI/ThoughtSpot in architecture and design capacity for Data Platform and Data Science - Machine Learning

A good grasp of patterns, anti-patterns, security, and privacy consideration when designing Data Platform and Data Science - Machine Learning

A good understanding, and experience of Insurance industry

Being able to understand detail of data driven solution and articulate this in an easy to consumable manner to technical audience.

Being able to produce good quality documentation, and presenting information is comprehensive and consumable manner.

Being able to represent facts, and quickly understand benefits of certain approach, and being able to articulate this with stakeholder - engineers, head of architecture, security consultants, and head of departments.

Responsibilities:

Definition, design of Data Platform Reference Architecture to sufficient enough detail to support re-use across divisional implementation.

Definition of Databricks Standards - Features, and analysing their usage against Client existing technology investment, strategies and patterns

Definition, and uplift of technology evaluation for Data Science

Investigate, understand and identify gaps, or enhancement to solution design undertaken for divisional of data science.

Definition, and uplift design of Data Science Reference Architecture to sufficient enough detail to support re-use across divisional implementation.

Work closely with Group Enterprise Architect, Cloud Engineering Teams and Security Architects to ensure deliverable are of suitable quality and strategic aligned to Client aspirations.

Working closely with Group Enterprise Architect, review items 4a to 4e) with divisional team architecture, engineering, security and privacy teams, where possible influencing feedback whilst maintaining alignment to Group Data & AI Architecture viewpoints.

Review items 4a to 4e with Databricks SME, and taking on feedback where required, ensuring alignment with Group Data & AI Architecture viewpoints.

Gain approval and acceptance of 4a to 4e through Architecture Forums both divisional (x4) and global (x1)

Job Title - Databricks Platform Administrator

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹140,000.00 per month
