Database Engineer :

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain

MySQL

,

PostgreSQL

, and

MongoDB

databases. Optimize queries, indexing, and performance tuning for high-volume systems. Manage

backups, replication, and disaster recovery

processes. Ensure

data security, integrity, and availability

across environments. Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams on schema design and deployment. Monitor databases, automate maintenance tasks, and resolve performance issues. Support database migrations and integrations between SQL and NoSQL systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science

,

Software Engineering

, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of hands-on experience with

MySQL

,

PostgreSQL

, and

MongoDB

. Strong command of

SQL

and

query optimization techniques

. Experience with

Linux environments

,

shell scripting

, and

database monitoring tools

. Familiarity with

cloud databases

(AWS RDS, Aurora, MongoDB Atlas). Understanding of

ETL workflows

Skills

Advanced knowledge of

database architecture and performance tuning

clustering

setups. Knowledge of
