Key Responsibilities :

Design, implement, and maintain

highly available and scalable database architectures

to support multiple backend modules. Create and manage both

relational

and

NoSQL schemas

(e.g.,

PostgreSQL

,

MySQL

,

MongoDB

,

Elasticsearch

) to efficiently store and retrieve

large volumes of data

. Set up and manage

replication

,

partitioning

,

sharding

, and

clustering

strategies to ensure data scalability and high performance. Define and maintain robust

backup

,

restore

, and

disaster recovery plans

. Optimize database performance through

indexing

,

query tuning

, and

caching strategies

using tools like

Redis

or

Memcached

. Implement and enforce

data security

and

compliance policies

(e.g.,

HIPAA

,

GDPR

) including

encryption at rest and in transit

. Collaborate with backend developers to improve

ORM query performance

and optimize

database connections

(e.g.,

Hibernate

,

JPA

,

TypeORM

).

Must-Have Technical Skills :

Solid hands-on experience with

PostgreSQL

(preferred) and

MySQL

. Working knowledge of

NoSQL databases

like

MongoDB

or

Cassandra

, and

search technologies

such as

Elasticsearch

. Familiarity with

high-availability

setups,

replication

, and

data partitioning

techniques. Strong understanding of

SQL

performance tuning

. Experience with

cloud-managed databases

Education & Experience :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in
