Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Database Developer

with expertise in

SQL Server

,

Azure SQL

and a strong understanding of

ERP

and

Banking

domains are preferable. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing and managing databases on Azure, ensuring optimal performance and integrating data solutions for business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Database Design & Development

: Design and develop database structures (schemas, tables, views, etc.) using

SQL Server

and

Azure SQL

, optimizing for performance and scalability.

SQL Query Optimization

: Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures and functions. Optimize queries and database structures to ensure high performance for large-scale applications.

Cloud Database Management

: Implement, manage, and maintain

Azure SQL

and ensure seamless integration with Azure services like

Azure SQL Database

,

Azure Elastic Pool,

Etc

Data Integration & Migration

: Lead data migration tasks from on-premises databases to Azure, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.

Security & Compliance

: Implement robust database security protocols, including encryption, access controls, and auditing, to ensure compliance with banking regulations and ERP standards.

Backup & Disaster Recovery

: Set up and manage database backup and disaster recovery processes, ensuring high availability of data.

Collaboration

: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including application developers, data engineers and business analysts, to ensure optimal database performance and system integration.

Documentation & Best Practices

: Maintain clear documentation for database architecture, query optimization strategies and integration processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience

: Proven experience (2+ years) as a

Database Developer

with expertise in

SQL Server,

Azure SQL and Postgre SQL

Problem-Solving

: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for resolving database issues.

Communication

: Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and documenting processes.

Education

: Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science

Information Technology

,

Engineering

, or related fields (or equivalent experience)
