Job Title: Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in cloud platforms, automation, and scripting languages to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our database infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of databases across cloud and on-premise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, maintain, and monitor relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle, etc.).

Design, implement, and support database solutions in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Perform backup and recovery, replication, and high availability configuration.

Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Python, Shell, PowerShell) to streamline database operations and deployments.

Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and provide tuning and optimization.

Collaborate with DevOps and development teams for CI/CD integration and data migration.

Implement and maintain database security, including roles, permissions, and encryption.

Participate in incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on experience as a Database Administrator. Strong working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation and orchestration. Strong knowledge of automation using any scripting language for regular DBA tasks. Experience with database performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning. Familiarity with DevOps practices, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD tools. Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar. Solid understanding of data security, compliance, and disaster recovery best practices.
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.

Pay: Up to ₹2,000,000.00 per year
