Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Database Administrator (DBA) Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of database management systems and a proven ability to effectively teach and mentor students or professionals. This role involves developing curriculum, delivering hands-on training sessions, and ensuring learners gain the skills required to excel as DBAs in real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs on database administration topics. Instruct students on core DBA concepts including installation, configuration, backup & recovery, performance tuning, security, and database design. Teach various database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. Create and maintain up-to-date training materials, labs, assessments, and documentation. Customize training content to meet the needs of different audiences (beginners to advanced). Provide hands-on guidance through real-time scenarios and practical lab exercises. Evaluate student performance, give feedback, and support learners in resolving technical issues. Stay updated on new database technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Conduct online or in-person training sessions based on organizational needs.

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3+ years of professional experience as a Database Administrator. 1+ years of experience in teaching, training, or mentoring technical content. Proficiency in at least one major database platform (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL). Strong understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and disaster recovery. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
