Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will work collaboratively with team members to ensure optimal database performance and reliability, while also engaging in proactive problem-solving to enhance system efficiency and security. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Monitor database performance and implement improvements as necessary. - Ensure data integrity and security through regular audits and updates. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in MySQL Database Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with database performance tuning and optimization. - Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures for MySQL databases. - Knowledge of SQL scripting and query optimization techniques. - Experience in database migration and upgrade processes. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in MySQL Database Administration. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
