Key Responsibilities

:

Manage, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance, security, and high availability.

Implement clustering solutions and ensure failover capabilities.

Handle database migrations, upgrades, and backup/recovery processes.

Monitor and troubleshoot database issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

Work with development teams to optimize queries and database design.

Utilize pgAdmin and other tools for efficient administration and monitoring.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL administration.

Experience with clustering and replication.

Proven experience in database migration and performance tuning.

Familiarity with pgAdmin and other PostgreSQL management tools.

Good understanding of database security, backup, and recovery strategies.

Qualifications

:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 7 years of experience post-graduation in database administration.
