Summary: As a Tech Support specialist, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, advising the systems for client environment. You will leverage your technical and communication skills to provide clarity and support, while also utilizing your in-depth product knowledge to design effective resolutions. You need to address client calls and lead outage bridges whenever necessary. You are also expected to guide and train your subordinates in the course of daily operation and whenever situation demands. Responsibilities - o Solution planning and technical architecture delivery for Oracle on premise and cloud system o Guide team in competency development and project delivery on Oracle cloud & on premise System o Maintaining database environment to its availability. o Ensuring database backup availability ,performance and scalability. o Candidate should have 70% Database Exposure, 30% Cloud exposure . o Tuning and troubleshooting of Database any components, with RAC o Documentation of SOP, Runbook. o Setting up automation for oracle daily housekeeping works. Technical Experience - o 8+ years of experience in Oracle Database administration with hands on experience in implementation and support o Need an in-depth understanding of Oracle architecture o Understanding of DBA Planning Calendar for DB admin tasks o Exposure to Database backup and recovery setup and troubleshooting issues o Knowledge of RMAN and its integration with Oracle o Detailed knowledge on standby databases, Oracle Data Guard and other replication technologies o In-depth understanding of Oracle Disaster Recovery setup o Experience in managing multiple Oracle database releases - Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g, 12c, 18c, 19c on large systems o Expert in Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC) management, Automatic Storage Management (ASM), and Oracle Data Guard o Expert in Oracle Database performance tuning and reporting, Cloud/On Prem Migration hands-on exposure, Exposure to Oracle Linux or Oracle Solaris o Migration and Administration knowledge on PostgresSQL, MySQL/ Maria & other open source databases is preferred Professional Experience- o Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills o Ability to communicate business value and manage client relationships o Ability to lead team in pressure environment within defined KPI/SLA o Excellent communication and teamwork skills o Agility and flexibility with shift time as situation demands. o Familiarity with scripting languages preferred. (e.g. Python) Educational Qualification - o 15 Years of Full time education o Knowledge on ITIL standard and best practices o Exadata hands on experience would be an added advantage
