Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will design, implement, and maintain databases, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that the databases meet the needs of the organization and support its goals effectively. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Monitor database performance and implement necessary optimizations. - Assist in the development of database policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and security. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle GoldenGate. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices. - Experience with database backup and recovery strategies. - Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle GoldenGate. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
