Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will work collaboratively with team members to ensure optimal database performance and reliability, while also staying updated on the latest database technologies and best practices. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Monitor database performance and implement improvements as necessary. - Assist in the development and implementation of database security policies. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with SQL tuning and optimization. - Strong understanding of backup and recovery strategies. - Familiarity with database replication and clustering techniques. - Experience in performance monitoring and troubleshooting. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
