Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong

Database Administrator

to manage, optimize, and secure our critical database systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in

installation, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and high availability setups

across multiple database platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.). Monitor and optimize database performance through tuning, indexing, and query optimization. Apply regular updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure database reliability and security. Manage database access controls, roles, and permissions to protect sensitive information. Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures. Ensure data integrity, normalization, and compliance with internal and external policies. Diagnose and resolve performance, access, and data consistency issues. Design and implement high-availability and replication strategies to minimize downtime. Perform capacity planning and scalability analysis for growing database needs. Document database architecture, processes, and configurations for audit and compliance.

Technical Skills Required:

Expertise in

SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB

Strong understanding of

database performance tuning and optimization

Experience in

backup/recovery, high availability, and replication

Familiarity with

data security, access management, and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA)

Proficiency in

query optimization, indexing, and database monitoring tools

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per year
