We are looking for a skilled

Database Administrator (DBA)

with hands-on experience in

Postgres

to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of

SQL queries, database management, and performance tuning

.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, monitor, and maintain Postgres databases. Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries. Perform database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization. Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies. Monitor database health and ensure high availability. Manage user access, roles, and permissions. Support application teams with database-related issues. Maintain data security, integrity, and compliance.

Key Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of

Postgres database administration

. Proficiency in

SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures

. Experience with

database performance tuning and optimization

. Understanding of

backup and recovery processes

. Basic knowledge of

Linux/Unix commands

(preferred). Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 1-2 years of relevant experience as a DBA (Postgres).
